Most newer Z68/P67 boards should, architecturally they saught to be compatible, it will be a matter of whether or not the manufacturers provide BIOS update support (some already have IV bios updates available).

I'm afraid not, this board has 6 internal and 2 external SATA connections:
Chipset:
2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (SATA3_0, SATA3_1) supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices
4 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors (SATA2_2~SATA2_5) supporting up to 4 SATA 3Gb/s devices
Marvell 88SE9128 chip:
2 x eSATA 6Gb/s connectors (eSATA/USB Combo) on the back panel supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices

In gigabyte website they have only one version for this model of motherboard which is : Gigabyte GA-Z68X-Ud5-B3 (rev. 1.0)

and here in the website you are advertising this model : Gigabyte GA-Z68X-Ud5 (rev. B3).

Could you explain why is that please.

It's the same thing:
GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 is the same as GA-Z68X-UD5 (Rev B3)
