Question by TXD9000
Would this motherboard fit into the Corsair 600t case? checked on asus website and it says E-ATX but not sure but on you website its says ATX
E-ATX means that it will support some of the rarer 'Larger than ATX' E-ATX motherboards. It will also support regular ATX motherboards. This should fit, in other words.
PCI-e by PsychoDeli
Regarding another question on here : The board can do 16x16 using the nVidia controller chip. To activate the feature, you need to put a card in PCI-e slot 1.
By doing this it puts slots 2 and 3 into 16x mode for a SLI setup
Thank you for the review.
Is this board UEFI by Isaac Kingsley
Is this board (and all the other P67 MoBos) UEFI?
The BIOS is EFI, yes.
According to ASUS: "2 Mb Flash ROM , EFI AMI BIOS, PnP, DMI2.0, WfM2.0, SM BIOS 2.5, ACPI2.0a Multi-Language BIOS "
Not all P67 boards are though, although many of those which aren't are expecting BIOS updates which will implement EFI.
This one does have UEFI most of the new motherbaords do have this.
x16 / x16 by Rohiric
i've heard from a few people that this board does x16 / x16 in SLi but the spec shown says otherwise. im i correct in thinking theres only 1 p67 on the market that can do x16 / x16 and thats the gigabyte GA-P67A-UD7 ?
Specs page on ASUS' website says:
single @x16, dual @x8, triple @x8, x16, x16
Which is a little confusing, but I believe that you are correct.
