Is this board now Pci 3 equiped as standard as according to asus's website?
It still lists the PCI-E slots as PCIe 2.0 on the Asus website.
Power Connectors by James
I have been looking into this board and have found comments that it may need both a 24 Pin and an 8 pin power connector to run, but that I only need the 8 pin connector if I am looking at overclocking the CPU. With the 24 pin being fine during normal working conditions.
Is this correct? or do I need to use both the 24 pin and 8 pin power Connectors. Is so, do you stock any adapters as my current PSU does not have an 8 pin connector.
You would need to use the 24 Pin connector for the motherboard, the 8 Pin connector is power for the CPU header on the board.
