I wouldn't recommend mixing different sticks of ram together, as this can lead to problems.

 brilliant RAM by BeeP

With RAM prices so low right now there really isn't a good reason not to buy a decent amount, the performance gained from putting more RAM in your PC far outweighs the price paid especially when you look at the price of these. I have ran Vista on 1gig of RAM in the past & it got by....sort of.

I ordered my parts from Aria & as usual deliver was spot on, these Patriot 4GB PC2-6400 C4 Viper Extreme Performance look stunning even before they are in place, I have them sitting in an ASUS P5Q-E along side a q6600 cooled by an Arctic freezer 7.

To start with I had a little trouble getting these sticks to go to the rated latency (4-4-4-12) but after reading the specs correctly (durr) I moved the voltages to 2.2v for the RAM, after that I have had no problems at all. This RAM is rock solid & gets a Vista score of 5.6 on stock speeds.

4gig of low latency RAM for this price is absolutely brilliant, this RAM is simply amazing value & will bring any DDR2 system back to life.

 Brilliant =] by Martinn

Bought about a month ago, was REALLY excited to get it in and running but my first purchase was faulty, NOT arias fault, they happily replaced it for me =]

Second set came and went in fine, its abit scary putting it in because of the heatsinks, you get the feeling there gonig to snap off, but they turned out to be PRETTY strong, you'd need to REALLY give it a squeeze to break it off..

RAM-wize, it works brilliantly when running Crysis as apposed to my old 2GB memory I had in, heatsinks reduce the heat alot making your system cooler..

and MOST important.. makes your PC look swanky =P

THANX ARIA!!

Hi!

I'm not too sure of myself with memory. I have an MSI K9N Platinum mobo, and four slots for DDR2 memory. The specs say that it must be 240 pin non-ECC. Me question: Is this memory okay for my board?

Thanks for your help

Brad.
