I wouldn't recommend mixing different sticks of ram together, as this can lead to problems.

 brilliant RAM by BeeP

With RAM prices so low right now there really isn't a good reason not to buy a decent amount, the performance gained from putting more RAM in your PC far outweighs the price paid especially when you look at the price of these. I have ran Vista on 1gig of RAM in the past & it got by....sort of.

I ordered my parts from Aria & as usual deliver was spot on, these Patriot 4GB PC2-6400 C4 Viper Extreme Performance look stunning even before they are in place, I have them sitting in an ASUS P5Q-E along side a q6600 cooled by an Arctic freezer 7.

To start with I had a little trouble getting these sticks to go to the rated latency (4-4-4-12) but after reading the specs correctly (durr) I moved the voltages to 2.2v for the RAM, after that I have had no problems at all. This RAM is rock solid & gets a Vista score of 5.6 on stock speeds.

4gig of low latency RAM for this price is absolutely brilliant, this RAM is simply amazing value & will bring any DDR2 system back to life.
