Motherboard, Latency timings and other animals by Steppio
Hi, im really interested in this product, and i'm reading my motherboard (ASUS M4A785D-M PRO) ram support list and although it states that it supports the OCZ2P8004GK model, do you think this model would be compatible? I've looked over and over it and the only real difference seems to be the latency timings, which on this model are 5-5-5-18 and on the OCZ2P8004GK are 5-4-4-15, would this cause system instability? Also what does the C5 on the name stand for? I can't seem to find any 2x2GB sticks that work in my motherboard; It's currently running XP 32-bit OS but i intend to upgrade very soon. If you could help me with this I would be incredibly grateful.
The memory should be compatible with your motherboard. The C5 in the name indicates that it has a CAS timing of 5-5-5.
Question by G singh
is this compatible with asus P5KPL-AM EPU motherboard
it should be as most DDR2 motherboards recognise DDR2 800mhz memory modules
Just a quickie by mdnw
will this ram be compatable with item #36073
While I cannot guarantee compatibility, this ram should be fine in the Asrock G31M-S.
Timings by Stan
If you install this ram in an Asus P5Q PRO motherboard you will not get the advertised 5-5-5-18 figures. I believe this common in Asus boards, be prepared to tweak the bios setting. The memory seems to run ok with everything set to AUTO.

First timer here, just woundering if this supports foxconn 45g/45cm motherboard? thanks
While I cannot guarantee compatibility, this ram should be fine in either of those motherboards.
