Question by Flynn
Is this powered by USB or mains?
It is a 2.5" drive and as such is powered via the USB bus with no mains power required
Colour? by Dean
Hello,
I notice on the Samsung website this HDD is displayed with a range of colours.
What colours do you guys stock? Are they all black? If not do you just ship out a random colour or can I pick?
Thanks
Dean
We only stock the black variant of this drive
Dimensions by MartinCC
Hello, please could you tell me the dimensions of the product? I already have a case I wish to use and would like to know if it will fit! Thanks.
I can't tell you exact dimensions for this product as I cannot find them anywhere but it is roughly the same physical size as any other 2.5mm external HDD and as such is approximately 110.6mm x 81.9mm x 17.6mm.
7200rpm?? by kalel
Are you sure this is 7200rpm? all the other sites with the same model number display it as 5400rpm!
Fairly sure, here's a review:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/19/samsung-s2-portable-hard-disk-does-the-7-200rpm-bump-with-usb-3/
Although to be honest, for an external drive, even USB3.0, I doubt very much that you would notice much difference between a 5400 and a 7200 RPM drive.
