Hello,

ASRock ALiveNF4G-DVI - would this G-card go with that mobo ?

Not looking to spend an awful lot just the current Nvidia Geforce GT7600 has burnt out :(

many thanks.

While I cannot guarantee compatibility, this graphics card should work just fine with the ALiveNF4G-DVI.

THE NEW BUDGET BLASTER ! by brianthesnail

Hi guys
when you play the odd game and demand decent graphics but dont want to pay two to three hundred pounds then the £50 price bracket is were the best cards lie
and the geforce 8600gt is a excellent example at a decent budget card, infact its extremely similar to one of our old friends the geforce 7600gt,another card that was very popular with the budget gamer
so what's its performance like, well it has a 540mhz core clock and 512mb of gddr3 memory clocked at 700mhz(1400mhz ddr effective) which gives it a memory bandwidth of 22.4gb/sec
these are decent specs and will allow you to run games like bioshock on low/medium detail however this may be at 1024x768 though
and with support for sli(scalable link interface) you can add another identical card for superior gaming
well done aria !
