Physix by Edd
I bought this card, updated all drivers, but I cant find where I can enable any physics, i used to have Geforce 8800GTS and playing COD4 MW, I had more effects, but now the game looks like a kind a naked... :(
AMD Cards don't support PhysX.
Water Cooling by Luv AMD
If I attach water cooling kit to this card will the warranty be void?
If yes then what Graphics card will allow water cooling to be attached and still retain its warranty?
As a rule of thumb any visible sign of tampering to the original cooling solution will usually void the warranty from the manufacturer.
Review by George
I bought one of these cards to run in an i7 build, with an i7 950, 6GB tri channel DDR3, etc. I did a lot of research on various reviews and comparison sites and arrived at the conclusion of the 5850 being the best bang for the buck in it's price range.
I have gotta say that this is the most spectacular graphics card I've ever come across/used.
So far I've thrown at it: Crysis, Medal Of Honour open beta, World in Conflict, Assassins Creed and Empire Total War. At 1920x1080 with EVERYTHING maxed out including max AF and AA, it eats them alive. Performance is silky smooth with no stutters whatsoever. We're talking circa 50-60fps and upwards easily. The fact it eats the mighty Crysis for breakfast speaks volumes I think! The graphics in all games look beautiful too.
And this is all for around 200 quid. I can remember the days where you used to have to spend double that on a GPU to get excellent performance! You can't go wrong - the best 200 quid I've ever spent.
Seriously, BUY THIS CARD - you won't regret it.
