Description:

High Performance CPU Cooler for Intel and AMD

The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is the upgraded version of the renowned Freezer 7 Pro. With the flexible mounting design, this version is compatible with the Intel Core i7, Core i5, as well as AMD Socket AM3. Featuring an ultra quiet 92mm fan and six heatpipes, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is one of the most efficient and quiet CPU coolers for power users.

FEATURES:

  • Extremely Cool
The unique heatsink design consists of 42 fins which significantly increase the heat dissipation area to distribute massive amounts of heat faster and more efficiently. Featuring a 92mm PWM fan, six heatpipes and pre-applied ARCTIC MX-2 thermal paste, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 offers performance far beyond stock coolers and achieves 130 watts cooling capacity, making it one of the most efficient CPU coolers available.

  • Extremely Quiet
The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is extremely quiet. Thanks to its low noise impeller and patented fan holder, the 92mm fan is almost inaudible. Controlled by a PWM signal, the fan runs at just the minimum necessary speed for lowest noise level and optimum cooling capacity. The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 generates only 0.8 Sone at 2,500 rpm which is much quieter than standard coolers and many other after market coolers.

  • Easy Installation
The unique mounting system is very user-friendly. The whole installation can be done in a few minutes. This is a total peace of mind solution for both Intel and AMD users.

  • Socket Compatibility
    : Intel - 1366/1150/1155/1156/775

    Question  Question by Adam Marshall

It's hard to tell from the picture, but would this fan be a good replacement for a Intel E29477-002 Socket 1366 Heatsink & 4" Fan?

Answer by shaund on Thursday, July 2, 2015
    Hi Adam,

Providing it fits in your case it will be a good replacement for the stock cooler.

Question  Will it fit by Maddie

I am unsure, being that the heatsink is 126.5mm (H) will this fit in a Zalman HD160 plus case? Also Am I able to Replace the fan?

    - Thanks

Answer by shaund on Wednesday, June 24, 2015
According to Zalman's site you can install a CPU cooler with a maximum heatsink height of 150mm & yes you can replace the fan.

     Great fan until by Ains

This is no doubt a good CPU cooler, good value for money especially for its cool temperatures against the stock performance. however 1/2 years down the line my fan stopped working one day without warning or misuse, so I would bare caution if you're looking for a long term cooler.

Question  Comes with AMD3+ Mount? by Dexter

Hi, the CPU cooler mounting bracket that came with my motherboard has recently broken, and I'm having trouble finding a replacement. In the picture of this cooler, it seems to come with a mounting bracket. Is this bracket compatible with an AsRock 990FX Extreme3 motherboard? (From what I can tell, you no longer stock these boards)

    Many thanks.

Answer by jonathana on Thursday, July 17, 2014
To be honest I'm not sure, It should be as the mobo you have is a AM3+ which this fan supports.

    Question  Compatability by mark

Under description it says it can be used on the LGA 1150 however under features point 6 it doesnt mention LGA 1150 compatabillity. So my question is can it be used on socket 1150?

Answer by patrickc on Friday, May 23, 2014
Yes, 1150, 1155 and 1156 all have the same mounting.
