Description:

Titan have listened to the criticisms they have had in recent times about the noise of their fans. It's not just the Fenrir fan on full throttle that's the issue, it's the whole line of fans Titan produce that fail to meet the mark both performance and silence. The EVO brings with it a fan capable of rectifying both aforementioned problems whilst providing a sleek new look perfect for the common enthusiasts looking for yet another uber black painted piece of hardware to add to his or hers collection of goodies.

Succeeding to its legend, the TITAN heatpipe CPU cooler carries forward its superior performance of targeting 160W TDP. Compared with the first version, the FENRIR EVO features a powerful fan with nine kukri-shaped blades for maintaining a lower noise level at 15dBA only. It is highly recommended to the gamers looking for overclocking potential and an improved hushed operation. The all-in-one socket support is compatible with most Intel and AMD systems. The FENRIR EVO utilizes unique plating technology to create dual-color gradation of heatsink allowing you to build your own cooling platform.

Key Features
- 4 x 8mm heatpipes with Heat Pipe Direct Contact feature: for rapider heat conductivity.
- 12cm ultra-silent fan with nine kukri-shaped blades: compare with the 1st version, the newly revamped fan is perfect for comprehensive cooling capacity and extremely noiseless operation at 15 dBA only.
- PWM intelligent fan controller: provides an excellent balance between high and low speed.
- High density fin design: large surface for heat dissipation while overclocking.
- All-in-one socket support: compatible with Intel LGA 775/LGA1156/LGA1366 and AMD K8/AM2/AM2+/AM3 systems.

I bought one of these to go with an Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 Mobo and Corsair Vengeance Blue RAM.
The mounting plate for the i7 2600 processor fouls the chipset heatsinks and the ram.
However, 5 minutes with a dremmel & cutting disc, I'd trimmed down the plate and it now fits a treat.
Excellent quiet performance & I have overclocked to 4.75Ghz without problems.
A very good buy, but beware if you can't handle a bit of DIY.
