This is a first time build so any help would be greatful also any parts I have missed? or other parts that would be better?
While I cannot guarantee compatibility, all of those components should be fine in this case and with each other.
PSU by Simon
Does the PSU sit at the top or at the bottom of this case, if anyone knows.
Top of the case.

Will this 500w power supply be effiecient for a relatively powerfull gaming pc ?
Thanks
That is dependent on what components you were going to use, but for a powerful gaming system i would recommend a powerful branded PSU like OCZ, Corsair, etc.

Nice & Stylish Case by Chris E
I have had this case for a few years now, and I really like it. It's stylish, and not completely overblown like a lot of gaming cases you see - just subtle. I came across it from the manufacturers website, and was quite glad when I found aria selling it under the arianet brand, as I really liked the look of it. There are 2 colours that the manufacturer makes though, the silver one (this one) and black. I wanted black, so I just took the silver grille off the front of this case (bend back the metal tabs on the other side and it comes out) and sprayed it black, looks excellent.
I don't like the crappy blue LEDs on the front fan much, and that seized up after a while (no idea when, just noticed it wasn't moving one day, and couldn't even turn it by hand).
Around January I upgraded my entire PC but kept the case, and with modern components (especially the longer graphics card - my new one is a GeForce 9600) it's a very tight fit, but it does fit, as long as you put things in in the right order!! The power cable to the graphics card sits in between 2 hard drives, with the edge of the graphics card itself almost touching the SATA power/data leads into one of the hard drives (have to use right angle connectors on this drive), certainly stopping them falling out anyway! I took the opportunity to get 2 new fans for the case at the same time as I upgraded, so I have a new, very quiet non-LED fan in the front and one in the back now, which continue to work!
