Windows 7 (64bit) by Brian2
Is this product compatible with Windows 7 (64bit)
Yes it is compatible with Win 7
XD cards by Burn-IT
It does indeed read XD cards - upside down in the left of the SMC slot.
Fitting by Dan
I have an Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer which only has 5.25" bays, does this come with a mounting plate to fit it? Or is there another reader that would be more suitable?
No, this doesn't come with an mount to allow it to fit into a 5.25" bay. However i believe that the Antec Nine Hundred does come with an adapter to take a 3.5" device into a 5.25" bay.
vista 64 by Marti
Is this compatible with Vista 64 bit?
This card reader should be fine in Vista 64.
xD Cards by Laurie
Brian wrote 'although this is not documented, they will take XD cards. However, XD cards do need to be inserted "wrong way up"'.
Can you expand on this and tell me which slot to use for xD cards .
Thanks
Hey Laurie, I actually pulled one of these out from the warehouse to check, and I'm afraid the documentation didn't mention anything about XD support. I can only surmise that Brian inserted XD card in the SD slot. Maybe someone out there can confirm this?
