This CPU could be the most brilliant CPU in 2008, it can be easily overclocked to 3.2Ghz without any stability problem if you have a good cooling system, with its large 8 MB L2 Cache, its performance can matach to any other high-end quad core CPUs.
And for this performance, you only need to pay less than 140. It's a must-buy CPU.

Just purchased this CPU from Aria on the 2nd, dispatched the 3rd and here on the 4th!
If only other companies were this quick I would be able to tell you how good the processor is! But I'm still waiting on a motherboard (..from elsewhere). Will be ordering more parts from Aria in future.
Good CPUs, but not as good as they used to be by Sam Morris
Took the plunge to upgrade to a quad core a little too late. The CPUs Aria will sell you now are the newest versions, which have a higher VID of 1.325 rather than 1.25, and severely reduced overclocking ability. The highest these chips will reach truly stable at 1.5V is around 3.3Ghz, versus the 3.8-3.9 you could squeeze out of an earlier G0. Low TDP is still the same thankfully, so they will run cool, but if you're looking to join the big overclockers club, save up for a Q9550 E0 (if you can find one).

A must have by steve s
hey everybody
i have just got one of these chips recently (month ago) in a new pc with 4GB of ram
the system i have running is mainly a gaming system but i also do a lot of video and music converting
just to put it bluntly this chip paired with 4gb of ram copyed a cd with 20 songs on into itunes in 14 seconds flat, it also converted a full dvd video from disk to hard drive (with converting) in just over 7 mins
a must have for aby one on a budget, ALSO REMBER to pick up a heatsink item number 20729 will do the job
"OEM or Retail by morgan" by Jon
Morgan, if you're looking to overclock you may aswell get the OEM, since you'll probably replace the heatsink anyway. Having said that, the retail is on superspecial at the same price as the OEM - so you get a longer warranty + spare fan.
