Is it Compatible by Mathieu Richard

Hi, Is this CPU compatible with a Asus P5B motherboard, I looked on their website and it mentionned it the motherboard is compatible with the Intel Celeron Dual Core E1300 and E1500. So could you confirm it will work with a E1400?

Thank you in advance.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't with the latest bios, but can't confirm I'm afraid.

1.8Ghz or 2.0Ghz? by ER

On Intel Info site it says the E1400 is a 2.0Ghz dual core CPU, here you have describe it as a 1.8Ghz dual core CPU. Can you tell me why your description says 1.8Ghz rather than 2.0Ghz?

Response by robinm
the reason is simple... someone made a mistake!

Bought one of these and put it on a Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L, fitted a decent HSF, and clocked it straight up to 3.0ghz.
