motherboard by skye maidstone
I'm looking to upgrade one of my machines.
It has an i3 in it currently.
So my question is will the Biostar TH55B HD LGA1156 support one of these processors?
No, that is an LGA 1156 motherboard, which is the previous Intel socket format. This is an 1155 CPU, and will only work in an 1155 motherboard. So you'll need to either change motherboard or go for one of the older (1156) i3/i5/i7 CPUs.
A full list of the CPUs supported by that motherboard can be found on this page, on the CPU Support tab:
PSU Question by eXeZyyn
am planning on buying this and 47105 together soon and am wondering if I can power this CPU with a 4 pin connector or would I need to upgrade to a PSU with a 4+4 pin connector
It probably depends on whether you are overclocking or not, but to be on the safe side I would recommend a 4+4.
OEM version by William De Sousa
Hey Lovely Aria people!
I've seen an OEM version of this at £258.20 inc VAT elsewhere. Will you stock an OEM version or can you match price :-)
We already sell the OEM version and it's cheaper than our competitor (although we can match the price if you like :)
You can find it using Qc 46968
