Is this a 2 wire straight through cable or a cross-over cable. I need a straight through one, they seem to be like hens teeth or rocking horse droppings.

hey :) i need one of these long enough to reach my bedroom with my bt modem. because at the moment im using an extension reel thing where it has splits in it to allow 2 lines to go out of it, i think when we recieve phone calls my dsl line goes dead. i think this is the problem. i just wanna put an rj11 cable to my bedroom and a microfilter at the start. is this between 10 and 20 meters?
No, these are only about 2 meters.

This is an RJ11 Male - BT Male cable, yes.
One end is - the other is a BT phone plug.

So one end is a small male? And the other end is a slightly larger male which will fit into a BT wall jack?

I presume this comes with the modem attached to one end and the bt socket to the other. does this also give free internet access. well everybody else is being daft !!!
